This video was surprisingly helpful, I needed some scarf inspiration. I love the color combo of the free people scarf above. It's getting colder by the day and I know this is only half the cold I'll be experiencing in Boston for Christmas. Time I start practicing these different wrappings!

the melrose trading post

I scored this sweet rabbit fur bomber jacket at the Melrose Trading Post today for a mere $45. Unfortunately it didn't occur to me that it matches Molly's fur exactly.... kinda creepy huh? Still definitely plan on wearing it though, I love how the bomber shape gives the fur a modern twist. 

Above is the aftermath of the crazy wind storm that practically tore down our apartment building last week. Crazy stuff...

TOLERANCE

 Spent some quality family time at the Museum of Tolerance in LA. I wore my new lamb skin jacket inside out for a nice suede look. Great thing about this jacket is that I scored it for $38 because it was mistagged at Wasteland vintage store in Santa Monica. That was a great shopping day....

Good looking family, I know.

63 degrees

 

Today I decided that sixty-three degrees was the perfect temperature. I can wear strappy heels with bare legs, but still layer on top. 

Andrew took these pictures for me with his new phone and they look better than my camera's pictures so I've decided it's finally time to invest in a new camera. 

Any suggestions?

Fashion Challenge: Day 1 & 2

New life challenge: see how long I can go without repeating an article of clothing and maybe even shoes... I won't be posting every look (this could get ugly), but I'll definitely be documenting. Added bonus- I can't buy anything new until November and even then those pieces can't be included in the challenge. I think this was Andrew's idea. Hmmmmm...

Just a quickie post before I ran out the door this morning. I'm trying to be more diligent about making posts so here you go. My beautiful grandmother bought me the Kenneth Cole shoes about 4 years ago and they're still insanely comfortable and in tip top shape! I was also able to score that bustier for $10. Awesome, I know.
